Business, Economics & Technology

Our relationship with energy is changing. World fuel prices and environmental concerns are driving the need. So is economic opportunity.  Investments in energy technology and innovation creates jobs and grows the economy.

Making this change is a collaborative effort.  Through partnerships across a variety of proven and next-era technologies, government departments, researchers, investors, industries and members of the public are all working to transform Nova Scotia’s energy future.

OERA awarded funding to carry out research in business, economics and technology contributes to the province’s approach to strategic and adaptive planning, and the province’s mandate to investigate economic opportunities for Nova Scotia technology developers and supply chain service providers.
