Community Meetings

Community meeting have been hosted to share information related to the Cape Breton Region Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) process on the following dates and locations. These meetings offered the opportunity to share community views on the future of tidal energy in Cape Breton.  The meetings were an open house ‘drop-in’ format with a short presentation given at the top of each hour.

Community Engagement Survey

A part of the Community Engagement Plan for the SEA Phase II Cape Breton Coastal Region, a community survey has been developed to gain feedback from the public and organizations on Marine Renewable Energy (MRE) development in the Cape Breton Coastal Region and the Bras d’Or Lakes.
