OEER/FORCE Tidal Energy Workshop

October 13 – 14, 2010 – Wolfville, Nova Scotia

OEER Association and Fundy Ocean Research Centre for Energy (FORCE) jointly held a Tidal Energy Workshop on October 13 – 14, 2010, at the Old Orchard Inn in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.

The objective of the workshop was to provide an opportunity for tidal researchers to present and discuss the current status research currently being undertaken relating to tidal energy in Nova Scotia and research findings to date. There was also an opportunity to discuss in detail key research areas such as Environmental Effects Monitoring, Resource Assessment and Extraction Potential and Near and Far-Field Effects.
